The forum agreed with the proposals that are contained in the draft PRSP. However, a point of emphasis was that
there was need to institute development programmes on a pilot basis in existing areas such the Mkushi farming block in order
to enhance rural-based agro-processing.
Secondly, the forum proposes that there should be a deliberate policy developed by Government that
will ensure that women are equally involved in trade policy development
