You might have noticed Alan Hirsch's recent two part series in Business
Report in which he discussed a range of policy issues affecting South
Africa's growth path during the next decade. SARPN takes pleasure in
extending this invitation to attend our next policy dialogue where Dr
Hirsch will discuss these issues in greater depth.
Dr Stephen Gelb, director of The Edge Institute in Johannesburg, will chair
the proceedings and will also introduce the issues for debate. We expect a
lively exchange of views to follow the presentation. In some senses, this
presentation follows the hugely popular discussion we organised with Dr
Francie Lund of the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The proceedings of that
debate can be accessed off our home page (www.sarpn.org.za)
If you missed the two-part analysis, the attached document - 33Kb < 1min (5 pages) captures them
for you.
